QUADCOPTER UAV DRONE DESIGN – SOLIDWORKS


Abstract: In the project-based online SolidWorks course, I developed a conceptual design of an unmanned aerial vehicle, with a quadcopter drone configuration. This kind of lightweight drone is common among popular customers. This design is complete with a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) exterior, Lithium Ion Batteries, blades, motors, flight control system and power distribution panel. This project helped me gain extensive design experience using SolidWorks as a tool, and multiplied my passion for UAV systems. The assembly along with individual parts are shown below.
